Testimonials

“I was fortunate to be part of O REI’s first edition, an experience that proved invaluable both academically and professionally. Beyond the excellent academic foundation, the programme gave me direct access to leading voices in international sports law, including the opportunity to write my final thesis under the supervision of Jan Kleiner, Director of Football Regulatory at FIFA, on waivers in the Electronic Player Passport process. Today, I work as a Case Manager in FIFA’s Player Registration & Transfer Data Department, where I handle EPP cases, review CAS awards, prepare allocation statements and support clubs and member associations through FIFA’s regulatory and operational processes. I remain incredibly grateful for the academic quality, practical exposure and access to industry experts that O REI provided.”

Junior Case Manager - FIFA Player Registration & Transfer Data Department · Cohort 2024-2025

“I am currently working as a Competition Assistant at the International Padel Federation (FIP), within the Sports Department. My role is both varied and exciting, I help promote and operate FIP tournaments around the world, ensuring we deliver the best possible events from the planning stage all the way through to execution. I also contribute to drafting the rulebooks, which requires a strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of the sport at the highest level. On top of that, I am the day-to-day point of contact for integrity matters at FIP, which adds a meaningful layer of responsibility to my work. O REI played a huge part in shaping who I am professionally. The academy instilled in me a real sense of professionalism, gave me access to world-class training, and is helping me build my name in the industry. I know I can always count on O REI for guidance and continued support, that relationship means a great deal to me.”
““The International Sports Law programme at O REI played an important role in helping me make the transition to my current role as Junior Case Manager in the Disputes Department within FIFA’s Legal and Compliance Division. While the academic side gave me a solid understanding of international sports law, what I found most valuable was its practical approach. The assignments, case discussions and active participation in a small group pushed me to apply legal concepts to real situations and develop skills that I use every day in my work. At FIFA, I now manage cases brought before the Football Tribunal, working closely with single judges and decision-making panels as part of the tribunal secretariat. The opportunity to learn from practitioners working at organisations such as FIFA and CAS, and to continue those conversations during networking sessions after class, gave me a much better understanding of the industry. I can confidently say that the knowledge, practical experience and professional exposure I gained through O REI were instrumental in helping me make this transition.””
