About us
A premium international sports law institution.
O REI Sports Law Institute was founded to redefine sports law education through a practical, industry-oriented methodology. Our programmes combine academic excellence with real-world exposure, preparing participants to operate in the global sports industry from day one. Through case-based learning, direct interaction with industry professionals and hands-on training, O REI bridges the gap between legal education and professional practice.

Our manifesto
O REI was not built to be bigger. It was built to be better.
For us, the founders of O REI, there are two pillars of success for an academic programme: the students and the lecturers. Everything else is consequence.
We have designed a premium programme for a select number of students per edition · the sports law experience we ourselves wished we had had as students. Not a business optimised for scale, but an institution optimised for transformation.
The institution is called O REI as a tribute to the football star who embodies the values we stand for: leadership and ethics, not as a label, but as a philosophy projected onto both our professors and our students.

Guiding principles
Governance. Leadership. Ethics.
Governance
A deep working knowledge of the management systems and legal structures that govern world sport · from regulatory frameworks to organisational dynamics and the high-stakes decision-making that shapes the industry.
Leadership
Sports lawyers and managers are leaders by trade. Through interactive learning, mentorship, and real-world scenarios, our students graduate as visionary practitioners ready to drive change in the sports legal arena.
Ethics
Integrity is not a course · it is the foundation. Every decision, every negotiation, every case is studied through the lens of conduct, accountability, and the rules that protect the integrity of sport itself.
Our methodology
The Greek academy, reimagined for the modern game.
A revolutionary teaching methodology, based on the Greek academies and combined with a heavy practical approach of Sports Law learn-by-doing · promoting a close relationship between the lecturers, already-established lawyers, and the students, the promising lawyers of the future.
